What is IASFAA?
The Idaho Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (IASFAA) is the professional organization for student financial aid administrators and practitioners from postsecondary institutions in Idaho and individuals from support agencies and organizations. IASFAA members include financial aid professionals from Idaho public and private colleges and universities, proprietary schools, banks and other lenders, guarantee agencies, and other private and public agencies which deal with financial aid programs.

What does IASFAA do?
IASFAA works to promote and facilitate communication among the various members and between its members and state, regional, and national agencies and organizations. Among these are the State Board of Education, Congress, the Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (WASFAA), the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), and other professional associations.

What will I receive from my IASFAA Membership?
Upon Payment of annual IASFAA dues, members will find several educational opportunities available through IASFAA:
  • IASFAA listserv: members who have Internet access will receive a subscription to the IASFAA listserv. Those without internet access will receive printed versions of the information shared on the listserv.
  • Membership directory information will be provided to IASFAA members.
  • A fall conference is held each year. Through workshops, interest sessions, and updates, the conference gives members the chance to interact with representatives from the U.S. Department of Education, the guarantee agencies and banks, and the various postsecondary schools within the state.
  • Network Opportunities: IASFAA membership enhances the development of a professional network with others who share similar interests, concerns, and goals.
  • Leadership Opportunities: IASFAA members can develop leadership skills by becoming an IASFAA officer or through participating on various IASFAA committees.

Please join us Today!
IASFAA membership is $25 annually. Although membership is accepted throughout the year, dues apply to the fiscal year of May 1 to April 30. There are two classification of IASFAA membership:
  • Active Membership (Voting): This membership... administrators of postsecondary financial aid programs
  • Associate Membership: This membership is open to individuals interested in student financial aid who represent public or private agencies, organizations, or foundations. Associate members cannot vote on association matters.

How do I join IASFAA?
Simply fill out the IASFAA Membership Application and mail it, along with a check for $25 (payable to IASFAA), to the IASFAA treasurer:
